AAEEH Elects 2007 Board of Directors

Arlington, VA (November 20, 2006) - The American Association of Eye and Ear Hospitals (AAEEH) elected one new member to its Board of Directors for the 2007 term at the Annual Meeting of the Membership in Las Vegas, Nevada on November 13, 2006.

The new member joining the ranks of the Board of Directors for the term running from January 1, 2007 to December 31, 2008 is Michael Gittelman of Bascom Palmer Eye Institute.

“AAEEH welcomes Michael Gittelman to the Board of the Association,” said Robert Betz, Ph.D., AAEEH’s Executive Director. “I know the Board is looking forward to working with Mr. Gittelman over the coming years. Additionally, on behalf of the AAEEH Board of Directors, I would like to extend my gratitude and heartfelt appreciation to Jim Mulvihill for his service to the Association as Chairman.”
